Staff Sergeant Corr served with the 38th Bombardment Squadron, 30th Bombardment Group, 7th Air Force in the Gilbert Islands and Marshall Islands, and participated in raids on many of the Japanese held islands of the Pacific. He was killed in action while on his 24th mission on April 10, 1944.

He attended Botetourt High School before enlisting during his senior year in 1942.

His name is etched into the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, Manila, Philippines.
