The Virginia War Memorial is proud to offer programs dedicated to homeschool educators and students throughout the year. These programs are FREE, and participants get the chance to explore the Memorial in-depth, engage in a variety of activities covering World War II through the present, hear from veterans and historians, and take home films and other resources! Homeschool learners of all ages are welcome.
Each Spring, we hold programs for Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts to tour the Virginia War Memorial and participate in activities highlighting history, service, leadership, and creativity! Scout days are organized through the Girl and Boy Scouts.
In order to further enrich the lives of students throughout Virginia, we offer contest and scholarship opportunities each year. Find out what we’re offering this year!
The War Memorial is able to offer annual paid internships in addition to academic internships through Virginia Commonwealth University. We are always looking for volunteers to help with tours, educational programs, and more!
