The Virginia Forum 2020 has been rescheduled to March 25-27, 2021 at the Virginia War Memorial.
The 2021 Virginia Forum theme is Crafting History, and will be held Thursday, March 25 – Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the Virginia War Memorial in Richmond.
The Virginia Forum offers an opportunity for scholars, teachers, writers, museum curators, historic site interpreters, archivists, librarians, and all those interested in Virginia history and culture to share their knowledge, research, and experiences.
This year’s theme of Crafting History was selected because history does not simply occur. It is made, shaped, and maintained by those seeking to preserve and to inform. History is a product of society and culture and reflects the values, perspectives, and biases of those who produce it. In words, both written and spoken, in our monuments, memorials, and art – we craft our history. Participants in the 2021 Virginia Forum are encouraged to consider the many ways that we make our history and the ways, in turn, that our history makes us who we are.
Please reach out to email@example.com with any questions.
The Virginia War Memorial will be carrying over all 2020 registrations to March 2021, unless otherwise requested. Registration for new attendees will open in late 2020.
If you do not expect to attend the 2021 Forum and would like a refund, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. If you do not expect to attend but would like to make your 2020 registration fee a donation to the Virginia War Memorial Foundation, let us know that as well.
If you registered for an organization or for a group of people, you may roll-over the number of registrations, donate, or request a partial or full refund. If you would like to keep the number of registrations but the identity of the expected attendees will change, we are happy to work with you.
Please reach out to email@example.com with any questions regarding your registration, and we hope to see you in March 2021!
