Individual Giving

What means the most to you?

  • Honoring and supporting fellow citizens who have served?

  • Understanding their wartime experiences?

  • Educating our community about sacrifice and the military’s role in our democracy?

The Virginia War Memorial offers a rare opportunity for individual citizens to make a difference that is both meaningful and lasting. And you can do it in whatever way is right for you. Donate once or monthly. Participate in fundraising events. Make the Memorial part of your estate plans. Every contribution helps ensure that the lessons of war will not be forgotten.

The Legacy Society welcomes all those who have included the Virginia War Memorial Foundation in their estate plans.

All planned giving requires a well-thought out strategy, usually with help from a financial advisor. Make sure we know your estate plans so we can recognize your contributions. To share your giving plans with us or to discuss how your planned giving will advance your philanthropic goals, contact Director of Development Mary-Michael Wachur at mmwachur@vawarmemorial.org or 804.786.2074.

  3. The Virginia War Memorial Foundation will verify the completed form and return it to the company.
  4. The company issues a matching gift contribution to the War Memorial.
  5. Completed forms can be sent with your personal gift to:
