Private First Class Rosen served with H Company, 3rd Battalion, 7th Regiment, 1st Marine Division. He was previously wounded on Bunker Hill in the hand and wrist by shrapnel on August 15, 1952. Sadly, he died of wounds sustained while assisting in the defense of outpost “Frisco.”

Before enlisting, he attended Augusta Military Academy and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1950.
