This December 7, we invite you to a series of events in observance of the 79th anniversary of Pearl Harbor Day.
At 11am, Memorial Director Dr. Clay Mountcastle and Education Director Jim Triesler will offer their insights and historical context.
Following their remarks, the latest installment of our “From the Archives” livestream series, Archivist Heidi Sheldon will highlight materials relating to the attack.
After Heidi’s class, we will host a special screening of the documentary film “World War II: Pearl Harbor” from the award-winning “Virginians at War” series.
