ONLINE – Pioneers in the Mess: Women Breaking Army Food Service Barriers
As we commemorate Women’s History Month, we invite you to join us for an interview with Dan Caughey, Curator at the U.S. Army Quartermaster Museum. Caughey will describe a new exhibit on “Army Subsistence” and discuss the role of Army women in food support roles from World War II to the 1970s. These women were on the forefront of new ideas and innovations to ensure food was preserved and available for troops on the frontlines.
This online event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
