A native of Coeburn in Wise County, Charlie’s art exhibition, My Art is My Portrait, was on display this winter and spring in the Memorial’s Veterans’ Art Gallery.
The diverse collection featured family portraits, works commissioned by the U.S. Army, snapshots of life in Coeburn, and more.
In this online interview, Charlie will sit down with Memorial Director Dr. Clay Mountcastle and share some of the stories behind his artwork.
