National Salute to Veteran Patients Week
This year, the National Salute to Veteran Patients will be observed from Sunday, February 11 through Saturday, February 17, 2024.
If you or your organization are interested in helping to write to patients in Virginia, the Virginia War Memorial Foundation provides cards and writing prompts for friends and volunteers who want to participate in this effort. Anyone who wants to write cards to Virginia Veterans currently in the hospital or in long-term care facilities, may pick-up blank cards (and drop off completed cards) during business hours at the Memorial.

This is a great opportunity for not only individuals, but scout groups, classrooms, and employee teams to come together in a safe way to support Virginia Veterans.
