Mighty Pen Project: Student-Author Readings

The Spring Virtual Semester of the Mighty Pen Project is coming to a close and the veteran-students invite you to hear live readings of a selection of their works online via zoom.

Join us as we celebrate graduates of the Mighty Pen Project, one of the Virginia War Memorial Foundation’s most popular and enduring programs. The Mighty Pen Project is a 12-week long creative writing class for veterans of all military branches, taught by author and Professor David L. Robbins.

The Mighty Pen Project helps students to develop their recollections into a complete written narrative. Through this program, the Foundation works to generate, preserve and share stories written by military veterans and those touched by their service. In this graduation ceremony, students will share selections from the stories they have been crafting throughout the semester. Learn more at vawarmemorial.org/mpp.
