Author Talk – Unwavering: The Wives Who Fought to Ensure No Man is Left Behind

Spend your lunch at the Memorial with a special Lunch-&-Learn event featuring Taylor Baldwin Kiland, a writer specializing in military non-fiction. She has written, co-authored or ghost-written more than 18 books, including Unwavering: The Wives Who Fought to Ensure No Man is Left Behind, which was released in May.

After presenting to our Teacher Institutes in the morning, Kiland will stay for a lunchtime discussion of her latest book.

Books will be available for purchase and signature through the Joseph A. Weinberg Memorial Store.

A former naval officer – the third generation in her family to serve in the Navy, Taylor spent twenty years in the private sector as a marketing communications professional before starting her writing career. She holds a master’s degree in Marketing Communications from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Southern California. She lives in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, with her husband and 10-year-old daughter.
