The Virginia War Memorial Foundation is always proud to host our annual Sips on the Skyline event. Mark your calendar for our 2025 Sips–a fun-filled evening celebration featuring a full-buffet of delicious food, great music, creative craft cocktails designed by Virginia’s best distillers, and of course, the skyline views of downtown Richmond and the James River that you can only get at the Virginia War Memorial.
This special evening brings together veterans, educators, Memorial supporters and friends to support the Memorial and Foundation’s important mission, celebrate the year’s accomplishments, and share an evening of festive patriotism.

THe sips on the skyline giving challenge:
This year, VFW Post 6364 issued a giving challenge. They agreed to match ALL gifts, dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000 made between August 1 and the end of Sips on the Skyline on Friday, September 13th!
Thanks to your generosity, we EXCEEDED this challenge, raising $5,625! Thank you too all who made a gift to the Memorial to help meet this challenge!

Are you an Annual Donor who gives at the $1,000 Standard Bearer Level or higher?
You receive tickets to this annual event as a “thank you” for your support. (Please call our offices at 804.786.2074 to R.S.V.P. or to purchase additional donor tickets.)
- “Standard Bearer” and “Ring of Honor” Donors ($1K – $4,999) will receive two (2) complimentary tickets. Additional tickets may be purchased by the donor for $75 each.
- “Eternal Flame Federation” Donors or higher ($5K+) will receive four (4) complimentary tickets. Additional tickets may be purchased by the donor for $75 each.
