Served in World War II. Served aboard a ship in Naples, Italy during the invasion of Anzio Beach, Italy. Was unloading the ship when the Germans straped them.

Captain Hausenfluck served with the 116th Infantry Regiment, 29th Infantry Division. He is buried in US Military Cemetery Margraten, the Netherlands. He attended the University of Virginia.

Lieutenant Junior Grade Hawkins trained at Naval Air Station Pensacola with Class 5C, 1943. Before the war, he was employed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He name is listed on the Courts of the Missing, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Private Hawkins served with the 83rd Chemical Battalion. He died in the sinking of LST 422 off Anzio Beach, Italy. Before the war, he was employed by the Southern Biscuit Company as a truck driver.

Second Lieutenant Hawkins first served in the Royal Canadian Air Force, then transferred to the United States Army. He was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and attended the University of Richmond for one year. He is buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia.
