2LT Fisher was a former DuPont employee and John Marshall High School graduate. A P-51 Mustang pilot attached to the Fifteenth Air Force – was protecting bombers over the Ploesti oil fields

Killed in action on December 7, 1941 during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Was stationed aboard battleship, U.S.S. Arizon. Awarded the Purple Heart posthumously.

Served with the 70th Tank Battalion. Graduated from Washington & Lee High School. He is buried at Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial.

Lived in the City of Richmond since 1947. Member of the Navy Bomber Squadron VPB-106. Also recieved the Air Bomber Special.

Captain Fissel served as a flight surgeon of the Medical Air Evaluation Transport Squadron. He was a graduate of the University of Maryland and the School of Medicine. He completed an internship at Riverside Hospital in Newport News and went into practice for himself.  

Private First Class Fitchett served with Company G, 116th Infantry Regiment, 29th Infantry Division. He is buried in Hermitage Baptist Church Cemetery, Middlesex County, Virginia.

Private Fitts served with the 10th Infantry Regiment, 5th Infantry Division. He was employed at Dan Valley Motor Company, Danville, Virginia. He is buried in the Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial

Second Lieutenant Fitts served with the 22nd Fighter Squadron, 36th Fighter Group. He attended Thomas Jefferson High School and was employed by Thalhimer Brothers before the war.
