LIEUTENANT COMMANDER HARRY MAYER, U.S. NAVY
Harry Mayer began his career in the U.S. Marine Corps and later transitioned to the U.S. Navy, where he served as a Navy Deep Sea Diver and Bomb Disposal Technician. Following a 23-year military career, he focused on a different kind of battlefield: coordinating medical teams during complex, catastrophic disasters. Harry cultivated a passion for prose and poetry, writing several pieces inspired by his diverse experiences, which provide insight into leadership, crisis management, and the human spirit. His writings are informed by a life spent in service.
