Join us this Virginia Archives Month to highlight one of the most influential military figures in U.S. military history, George C. Marshall. Since 1953, the George C. Marshall Foundation has preserved Marshall’s life and legacy as a soldier, statesman, and humanitarian. Melissa Davis, the Director of Library and Archives, will explore the later years of Marshall’s career as Secretary of Defense and his role as the Chairman of the American Battle Monuments Commission.
