Storytime at the Memorial: April 2026

Experience educator-led readings of children’s history books and themed craft activities on second Saturdays of the month at VWM. Programs take place in Russell Scott Hall at 10:30 a.m. Storytime at the Memorial programs are free and open to children and families. The suggested age range for participants is 4 to 10 years old.

On Saturday, April 11, 2026, join us for Storytime at the Memorial: Month of the Military Child

Featured Book: “America’s Flag Story” by Karen S. Robbins. Special guests from the Daughters of the American Revolution – William Byrd Chapter will give away copies of the featured book to the first 25 children who attend the program.

Craft: Make American Flag streamers, design and press your own Storytime buttons, color patriotic coloring sheets and more.
