Homeschool Day 2026
REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT HAS CLOSED.
Homeschool students of all ages are invited to enjoy the exhibits and resources at the Memorial during a FREE program each Spring. Our Homeschool Day presents a variety of hands-on activities, crafts, and games pertaining to war in the 20th century, and include tours of the Memorial and the Shrine of Memory.
Homeschool Day 2026 will take place on Monday, May 4, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Bring your lunch and enjoy a day of learning and fun.
Homeschool Day is FREE. Registration is required for all attendees (all ages) and closes three days before the program.
Activities of the day include:
- WORLD WAR II ARTIFACTS DISPLAY
- THE WE ARE MARINES COLLECTION UNIFORMS DISPLAY
- STORYTIME FEATURING AMERICA’S FLAG STORY BY KAREN S. ROBBINS
- PATRIOTIC CRAFTS
- SCAVENGER HUNTS
- TOURS OF THE EXHIBITS AND SHRINES
