Staff Sergeant Bradley served with the 555th Bombardment Squadron, 386th Bombardment Group, 9th Air Force as an Aerial Engineer on B-26B Marauder (41-31852, “Man of War Jr”) that was shot down by German antiaircraft artillery.

Before the war, he graduated from Stuarts Draft High School and worked at Montgomery Ward Farm store and Wayne Manufacturing Company.

He is buried in Riverview Cemetery, Waynesboro, Virginia.
