Sherman Elwood Claytor

Private First Class Claytor served with the 242nd Infantry Regiment, 42nd Infantry Division. He is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, Lorraine, France next to his older brother, Staff Sergeant Eugene Claytor. Before the war, he was employed by the Blue Ridge Rug Company.
