Private First Class Jackson served with A Company, 115th Forward Support Battalion – 1st Cavalry Division, Ft Hood, Texas. Her military vehicle hit an improvised explosive device as she was returning to Camp Eagle in Baghdad.
She was a 2003 graduate of George Wythe High School where she served as the Battalion Commander of the JROTC program.
She is buried in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Charlotte County, Virginia.
