Captain Teal served with the 2nd Brigade, 4th Infantry Division – Fort Carson, Colorado. He was killed when a mine exploded outside Baqouba, Iraq.
He was a 1994 graduate of the Virginia Military Institute.
He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
