James Samuel Carden

Died In: Normandy, France

Private First Class Carden served with F Company, 116th Infantry Regiment, 29th Infantry Division.

Before the war, he worked for Carter Fabric Rayon Plant, South Boston, Virginia.

He was killed by a German sniper seven days after D-Day invasion on June 13, 1944.  PFC Carden is buried in Clover Cemetery, Clover, Virginia.
