David Edward Owens, Jr.

Lance Corporal Owens served with the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, Camp Pendleton, California. He was killed by enemy small-arms fire.

He attended James Wood High School where he played football, ran track and excelled at wrestling.

He is buried in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Frederick County, Virginia.
