Sergeant Asbury served with the 4th Support Battalion, 1st Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. He was killed by sniper fire when setting up a roadside check point.
He was a 2004 graduate of Tazewell High School where he was active in the marching band.
He is buried in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Killeen, Texas.
