To commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Virginia War Memorial’s dedication, Director of Education Jim Triesler will interview educator and historian Phil Bigler, recent author of Virginia War Memorial: 75 Years, A Living Tribute to Their Sacrifice. Bigler will discuss the vision and desire that forged the majestic 1956 Shrine of Memory, and why the Virginia War Memorial remains beloved and relevant today.
