Storytime at the Memorial: February 2026

Experience educator-led readings of children’s history books and themed craft activities at Storytime at the Memorial. The program takes place on second Saturdays of the month at 10:30 a.m. in Russell Scott Hall and the Memorial. Storytime programs are free and open to children and families. The suggested age range for participants is 4 to 10 years old.

On Saturday, February 14, 2026, join us for Storytime at the Memorial: Black History Month with the featured book Wind Flyers by Angela Johnson. Children will decorate and assemble toy airplanes. Meet Storytime’s special guests Howard and Richard Baugh of the Howard Baugh Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. Learn about the Army Air Corps during WWII and the experience of Tuskegee Airman Lt. Col. Howard Baugh.
