Plan Your Next Event At The Virginia War Memorial
The Virginia War Memorial offers unique indoor and outdoor spaces for rental that are perfect for small business meeting to a formal reception or dinner event of up to 1,500 guests. Your guests will enjoy the breathtaking views of the James River and the Richmond city skyline. Guests may also have the opportunity to enjoy the exhibits on display throughout the Paul and Phyllis Galanti Education Center and the inspiring Shrine of Memory. Other amenities include ample free parking, easy access for major highways.
The Memorial is also able to provide rectangular and round tables,chairs, podiums, projection systems, and full A/V services for your event. All proceeds from the facility rentals are used by the non-profit Virginia War Memorial Educational Foundation to help fund the educational and patriotic programs and events of the Memorial. Multi-purpose auditorium featuring a 20-foot stage with Seal of the Commonwealth of Virginia and separate reception area.
Capacities: Up to 175 persons. 130 persons in theater-style. 75 persons in classroom-style with rectangular tables. 64 persons with eight place round-top tables.
With its 20-foot high ceiling and surrounding windows, the Grand Lobby is unequaled in Richmond to host a formal or informal reception or dinner event.

The Memorial’s largest and most adaptable multi-purpose space. Can easily accommodate events from banquets to receptions to business meetings and seminars.
Capacities: Up to 200 persons for a stand-up reception. 160 in theatre-style. 100 with eight place round-top tables. 80 in classroom set-up with rectangular tables.
Undercroft Exhibit Hall
Perfect venue to register attendees for an event in adjacent Freedom Hall. Available at reduced rental rate when combined with rental of Freedom Hall or other indoor or outdoor spaces.

Schumann Conference Room
The ultimate traditional space for a business meeting. Includes 22-foot walnut conference table.
Capacities: Up to 40 persons (19 seated at table)
With its stadium seating, a perfect space for corporate and educational programs. Includes built-in projection system and large pull-down screen.
Capacities: Cushioned theater seating for 69 persons.

For larger events of up 1,500 persons, the grounds of the Memorial are available separately or in combination with other rental spaces. Tenting options are also available.
